I want to engage children and parents in their own psychological growth and develop inner resources. I use a somatic or body based approach that begins with the body to gain a better sense of sensations, impulses and feelings so as to become more grounded, centered and at peace and build empathy.
My vision is to create a place where children can be seen and heard for who they are and to guide their parents in developing a therapeutic or attuned relationship with their child. I employ play therapy, Sandplay therapy, expressive arts and Somatic Experiiencing techniques.
I assist with anxiety, behavioral problems, self esteem, adoption, developmental trauma, grief and loss, and divorce.
