I work through an Attachment based Theroy using Emotionally Focused Therapy to bypass content fights and get to the heart of the couples problematic interactive pattern. I'm specifically trained to work with blended families and am a part of a blended family as well. My work with couples helps strengthen marriages, create more security in the marriage and create a deeper understanding between the couple for more productive communication. The goal is to gain an understanding of the long standing patterns and recognize those to work on the emotion underneath. This helps couples solve their own problems with out years of expensive therapy.
