About

I'm Brooke, a licensed clincal social worker and licensed drug and alcohol counselor. I am passionate about helping individuals to find peace within their lives and passionate about helping couples find peace within their relationships. My specialities include working with individuals, couples and families struggling due of an addiction and/or mental health diagnoses within the family. I believe that the biggest factors lacking in the majority of relationships are transparency and consistency. When we choose to not be transparent and vulnerable with our partner we automatically create distance in the relationship.
Couples that experience therapy with me can expect a variety of therapeutic modalities including, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing and the gottman method. All therapeutic modalities are uniquely mixed together to meet the specific needs of each couple. Therapy sessions are combined with homework throughout the weeks to help couples rebuild a solid foundation of friendship and practice communication inside of therapy and in their weekly lives.
