Constantly arguing about small matters can indicate an underlying and deeper tension between the both of you. If you feel that the situation cannot be changed no matter how much you try to make things for the better, then counselling might help you resolve the issues specific to your marriage.

Some people say that it's the little things that count, and that little things add up to a lot. While this can be true, always stressing out about even the tiniest details and put a lot of tension in a marriage. It's would be a good idea for both of you to calm down and discuss about these little problems first if you feel that the issues can be resolved. However if the small problem is somehow debilitating and both of you are unsure, then by all means consult an expert.

Couples who are given to mundane arguments have perhaps the most to gain from couples counseling. That’s because the therapy will give you, as a couple, the opportunity to reflect on some of those day to day arguments and put them in a larger context. By taking time out of your schedules on a regular basis for such reflection, you’ll give yourselves a chance to see how small those disagreements really are, and your counselor can give you strategies for how to live more harmoniously with one another. Imagine how much more pleasant life would be without such irritating distractions.
