While marital conflict resolution may not save a marriage, it may certainly provide you with the tools to work through conflict, separation, and anger. Conflict resolution brings a third (and hopefully neutral) party into the conflict so that he or she may help guide conversations and shape possible visions for outcomes. Conflict resolution assumes that the partners that enter the conversation are willing to be vulnerable and transparent as the conversation unfolds. Without this intrinsic openness in place, conflict resolution will not be a possibility.
