Most couples nowadays have signed up for what’s called a Registry. This is when they’ve selected a store (or two or three) where they know exactly what they want and they’ve made a list of all the things for all of their guests to see. You go to the store, look up their Registry list and find an item that you want to give them that you like and fits in with your budget. It’s really the easiest thing!

Young couples probably need a lot of things for the homes, especially if they are living together for the first time, so things like appliances, plates, silverware, bedding, those sorts of things.  For couples who have already established a home before getting married they would probably appreciate cash or help with paying for their honeymoon or improvements on their home.

Ah, wedding gifts. The options are limitless. Unlike years past, today's couples want modern expressions of the traditional wedding gifts, even though some of the most coveted gifts still hail from the kitchen, dining, bedding, and bath departments. For deluxe bedding and bath, give them gifts that'll create a spa-like, hotel environment every morning when they wake up. Think about buying them a trio of gifts to create a theme: What about a set of super-soft pillows, a thick down blanket, and a pair of high thread-count hotel towels? Kitchen items – especially the gourmet varieties – are always in vogue.

My take on gift-giving is that giftcards or vouchers work wonders. amd help prevent unsuitable gifts. In fact, the couple will be able to choose an item that they feel is more useful to them rather than having gifts they don't need imposed on them. Just be sure to pick giftcards or vouchers from a store that has a variety of product ranges and types so they have a wider choice!
