So you're thinking of popping the question to your partner, but you're understandably nervous. You start to wonder: Is marriage worth it?
That is a totally legitimate question! The truth is, marriage isn't for everyone.
If you're someone who:
Feels pressure, but no real desire, to pop the question
Wants to get married in the hopes that your partner will settle down/change
Likes to play the field
Is just afraid to be alone
Isn't into the idea of stability and routine
Isn't crazy about starting a family, or
Already has a sneaking suspicion that you won't stay faithful once you tie the knot
Then I'd say marriage probably isn't for you!
But when you've found the right partner, marriage is definitely worth it. Marriage means you'll always have a plus one in life. You'll never have to eat, go to the movies, or attend a festival/concert/wedding/event alone ever again.
Being married also means you get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend. It's being with someone committed to making you happy and giving you the best orgasms of your life. That's what I call a win-win!
