America’s Longest Married Couple Share Secrets to a Happy Married Life on Twitter

He’s is 104. She’s 100 and they are still in love with each other. Sounds magical!. John and Ann Betar have been married for 83 years have been claimed as the longest married couple, the Washington Post reported.
It started in 1932 when John was 21 and Ann was 17, when they met. Ann’s father wanted her to marry a man 20 years older than her. The couple eloped to Harrison in New York in November 1932. Now eight decades later with 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, they now share their wisdom on love and marriage with the world on Twitter.
The pair answered questions in a chat hosted by an app named Handy. Read on to know what they said…

John and Ann have seen the world changing over eighty three years of togetherness and the two will share marital and life advice online. Ann Betar shared one tip for a happy married life to young couples, “Live day to day within your means. Be content with what you have. Don’t spend more than you have. Respect each other.”
