It’s Official Now: Jillian Michaels and Heidi Rhoades Are Getting Married
Jillian Michaels finally proposed longtime girlfriend Heidi Rhoades on the season finale of Just Jillian. The two are now engaged. The news went viral after Jillian Michaels, the fitness expert, 42 opened about her relationship with Heidi in an interview on E!. Michaels described Heidi as ‘the perfect person’ for her. Jillian said, “The only place where there’s a solace and a respite and a safe haven is with my family. And Heidi is the nucleus of that family. She is the glue that really holds everything together.”
Both Jillian and Heidi are big believers in marriage. Heidi wished to get hitched long time before but Jillian thought that their relationship was fine as is. Now that the duo’s engagement news is out in the open, let’s know more about their relationship goals.
Jillian-Heidi’s proposal story
The proposal started with a heart melting video telling the story of the couple’s journey together. Their engagement video was played in a movie theater in presence of their friends and family. It included highlights from the duo’s lives, footage of their home with their two kids Lukensia,5 and Phoenix, 3 and ended with their pals asking Heidi to marry Jillian. It was really sweet!
After the video ended, Jillian went on her knees, asked for Heidi’s hand and said: “I know I’m an a**hole all the time, but you’ll continue to put up with me, I would like you to marry me.”
Watch their video montage and keep some tissues ready. I am sure this will melt your heart.
Jillian flaunts her engagement ring
Jillian is now showing off her engagement ring that matches with Heidi’s. Jillian wears an emerald cut, diamond Eternity band set in platinum by Martin Katz. Same for Heidi’s that features a small white diamond, Irena Eternity band of 18 karats white gold.
Just as a diamond’s beauty lasts forever, we wish the duo much happiness for the rest of their lives. We admire this couple for stepping forward into the limelight and supporting the LGBT community and living their lives freely in the social landscape.
