George Clooney and Amal Amlauddin’s marriage seems to be going great. It has been a year and a half since the couple’s fancy Italian wedding and they both are enjoying a fairy tale romance despite their busy careers. The actor says that it takes serious work to make it happen.


‘We have a rule whereby we are never apart for more than a week. We also stay in touch via social media, so we try to keep close even we’re in different parts of the world, the actor told Hello!

George and Amal’s love story

George and Amal sizzle together as a couple at every big event and looks like their love for each other is growing with every passing day. Having multiple homes across the globe helps the two, who are always travelling around. They have a home in London that is decked with a theater and spa. Clooney adds on and says, “It takes some planning, but it’s actually been working out very well for us.”


The couple married each other in September 2014 where George bonded with Amal over their humanitarian interests. “We’re both committed and share a common concern for causes like the refugee crisis, but what really brings us together as a couple is the fact that we’re good friends and we enjoy each other’s company.” said Clooney.

The couple’s proposal story

Do you know how the power couple made their proposal event special? The two were at home and Clooney prepared the dinner while Amal got up to the dishes! Clooney hid the engagement ring in a place where she could find it. On discovering it, she just stood there perplexed. Clooney asked, “I need an answer. I’m 52 and I could throw out my hip pretty soon.”
