If you are a stiff, boring asswipe, that&rsquo;s your problem. But fun is also subjective, what is fun for a nerdy academic couple may not be the same for rich spoiled brats living off a trust fund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So plan your fun relationship goals with your definition of fun in mind. The worst thing that could happen is it&rsquo;s not as fun as you hoped it would be, and that doesn&rsquo;t sound too bad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marriage.com\/advice\/relationship\/long-term-relationship-goals\/\"><b>Fun relationship goals<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are exciting from the drawing board until fruition. Having something hilarious to look forward to in life is never a bad thing. Most first dates can probably still be emulated. Planning to get it as close as possible is part of the fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In case you&rsquo;re wondering why that scenario is impossible these days:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;Most people don&rsquo;t even know what a drive-through cinema is.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;Couples married for 50 years will probably find it physically challenging to screw in the back seat of a minivan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;Borrowing a minivan from your mom when you&rsquo;re in the late 70&rsquo;s leaves a lot to be desired.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unless you kept the minivan and still have it in good running condition, if that&rsquo;s the case, kudos to you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But there are many experiences, especially when you think about all the sacrifices for marriage responsibilities and child-rearing. You can always try a Susan Boyle and audition for {Somewhere Simon is a Judge} got talent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&rsquo;t expect to win, but just being there for the fun of it is a good thing to experience during the last years of your life. A bucket list for couples is a good idea. Having something enjoyable to look forward to is one of the ways to keep waking up in the morning on the right side of the bed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regardless of your career path, if you worked for 50 years and retired after you&rsquo;ve given the best years of your life to a company. Notice that I didn&rsquo;t mention if you ended up as an uber-successful person.
