\"WhyRight away when I discovered I have conceived, that is when my life started changing. I know you wonder what I mean, but if you are not a mother, then you might be in awe.<\/span><\/p>\n

For nine months, I could always meditate about my upcoming baby girl day in day out. While waiting for that 0-day of birthing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certainly, I realize becoming a mother and a parent is real.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is when I realized that parenting is not all about sleep all night. Having sleepless nights became something usual and normal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, I am a good mother of t<\/span>hree<\/span> kids. I still appreciate the day of my youth when I had no responsibilities of taking care of someone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Still, my husband is here for me. Apparently, you understand all his needs. I guess now you understand that parenting is all about bringing up your family in a considerable manner. More importantly, it is important to engage in positive parenting.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, why is positive parenting important? Positive parenting equips the child to learn effective ways to cope with the challenges of the world, build self-confidence, regulate their feelings and become responsible.<\/span><\/p>\n

While this article lines with the statement. “Parenting Changes Your Life,” I will give you a review of some ways to justify this statement and try to answer the question, “Why is positive parenting important?”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parenting will change your life. Let’s dive into the “how”<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span>1. Wardrobe<\/span><\/h2>\n

Before parenting, we were both choosers on which costumes best fits the occasion. This was the query “what will I wear today?”.<\/span><\/p>\n

What about after parenting? Things have totally changed. No need for asking this demanding question. Just tiptoeing to the wardrobe and picking the costumes.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>2. Laundry<\/span><\/h2>\n

Now you can understand why I talk about a pile of clothes, yes they are many. Doing laundry for a family is not a joke. My baby with my husband has to remain clean despite anything else.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before parenting, during those times, no one bothered about the other whether clothes are clean or not. Washing all the napkins, baby blankets and everything of the sort, life has really changed.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>3. Dining<\/span><\/h2>\n

Becoming a parent, everything about eating changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The habit of eating, the place of eating and everything. Before parenting, we could just eat in slow motion, making fun of each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

But now it’s totally different. Planning about the kid’s meal first, then preparing our meal. Feeding the baby on an empty stomach before you get into that plate and swallow the food quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n

I mean no wasting time, this is parenting, every second counts.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>4. Busy schedule<\/span><\/h2>\n

When we had not received our baby, we had all the time. In fact, we had enough time, so much so, we could go on a vacation every weekend and other on weekdays.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, I see the meaning of the word ‘busy’. I realize I’m busy all the time. A busy baby-filled lifestyle denotes a busy social calendar. I now understand it clear that these two lifestyles are totally different.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>5. Planning<\/span><\/h2>\n

\"Planning\"If you find yourself asking the question, “how can I improve my parenting skills?”, remember the key to <\/span>effective parenting is, planning.<\/span><\/p>\n

The days when planning was of no value to me are gone forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preparing dinner was what we did perfectly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now post-baby days mean cutting those veggies on Sundays for your weekly preparations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Failure to this, then take away meals becomes your next option rather than trying to chop the onion with your baby on your back.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>6. Bothered about my kid’s future<\/span><\/h2>\n

Evidently, I was anxious and still concerned about the future of my kids. While this is logical and normal to every parent, I wanted my kids to enjoy their childhood.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certainly, our future is always determined by today. I wanted my kids to have the best environment ever to grow up.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, we must incorporate an investment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Investing for your children is a vital thing to avoid problems in the future. In addition to that, getting insurance cover both life and property insurance was my priority.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/span>7. Joyful life<\/span><\/h2>\n

Surely, it’s totally different when I compare the after gone-days with these days. Life without kids is somehow boring, unbusy and all that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, I relish in watching over my kids playing outside, I mean I love what they always do to make us happy.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>8. Good decision making<\/span><\/h2>\n

Parenting will change your life. In my case, <\/span>every decision I make incorporates my child. So I am careful about what life choices I make. Whether the choice is bad or good, I always consider my children.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s crystal clear that children change our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although they make it seem complicated and busy, they are the best creatures who make our lives better and happy. Parenting will change your life but in a positive way.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false,"raw":""},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
