They will come around when they see how happy you are together. Your boyfriend and your dad may even become best friends as they are closer in age than your partner and you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another important thing to keep in mind is not to hesitate. Don’t let your parents think that you are unsure about your choice or that this is “<\/span>just<\/span> a phase”. <\/span>You might not be able to convince them to take your relationship <\/span>seriously<\/span> right away, but you can show them that you yourself are completely serious about it<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
