If you ask the average man and or woman on the street what percentage of relationships they would consider being healthy versus unhealthy, the odds are people would skew their response much higher than reality.
The truth is, about 80% of relationships are unhealthy and or in serious trouble.
Below, David shares his thoughts on why we have such a terrible state of affairs regarding love relationships today and why it is necessary to identify the signs of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships.
“When I first started as a counselor and master Life Coach, the percentage of people coming to us for help with their relationship was about 20% out of the total number of people I worked with daily.
Today, the percentage of my clients that I am working with in regards to love, friendship challenges, family challenges now account for about 70% of my work with clients from around the world!
And how did we get to such a terrible state of affairs regarding relationships?
Number three. Approximately 68% of third marriages end in divorce.
Just buy the statistics alone, it’s easy to see why we are in so much trouble in regards to our love relationships, family relationships, and friendships.
But unhealthy love relationships is the one area that we need to look deeply at, to make the changes, so that we can obliterate the incredibly high divorce rate in our country alone today.
And the top tip that I can give you right now that will help change these numbers? Slow down.
Take more time in between relationships.
Look in the mirror at the role that you’re playing in your past unhealthy relationships, and reach out to professionals to get the help necessary to shatter the state of our current love relationships, and give our future relationships a fighting chance to not just survive, but thrive.”
