This Week In Weddings
Lots of crazy wedding news this week, from celebrity wedding crashers, a bride arrested on her wedding day, and more!
Wedding crasher! – Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber and celeb girlfriend Selena Gomez may not be thinking of marriage yet, but they’re definitely not staying away from weddings! The couple was just taking a stroll on the beach when they “coincidentally” heard JB’s hit, One Less Lonely Girl, at a beach wedding reception. In true star-studded style, they crashed the wedding reception and surprised EVERYONE attending! Whether or not this was a publicity stunt is still unknown—some are saying it was probably staged (come on, do these things really happen in real life?)—but we’d still like to dream.
Wedding day fiasco – Jailtime, a wedding, a bride, and identity theft? Sounds like the ultimate wedding day—but definitely not in the best way. We just caught wind of one Michigan bride, Tammy Lee Hinton, who was apparently arrested at her wedding for—get this— a warrant for identity theft. Officers decided that they had no choice but to arrest her on her day, since they had limited information about her whereabouts. Word is that she’s been wanted by authorities for THREE years on this felony, which is definitely worrisome, but we’re more concerned about her groom-to-be! Hopefully he knew who he was marrying… maybe he was even on the heist. Either way, they let her pose for last-minute photos before taking her away!
Aw, come on! – It’s only been a month, but actor and celeb Daniel Craig has ALREADY forgotten his anniversary and wedding date. Craig was married to actress Rachel Weisz recently—just in late June—which is soon enough to feel the pangs of wedding excitement… so what gives, James Bond? In an interview with Jay Leno, he just couldn’t remember the date and reportedly said: “Erm… (it was) two or three weeks ago. I am supposed to remember aren”t I?,”
Wedding on the big screen— Shannen Doherty, the former star of Beverly Hills, 90210, will be on television once again—except this time, she WON’T be acting. The actress recently became engaged to celeb photography Kurt Iswarienko, and their wedding will be televised in true reality tv style. The show, which will air on WEtv, is highly anticipated. Studio executive John Miller told Entertainment Weekly, “She’s insanely compelling. People will see a side of Shannen they never expected to see … unfiltered, honest and vulnerable.”
