Top Ten Tuxedos: Number 7

We are continuing our countdown of Rik Ducar’s Top Ten Tuxedos. So far, we have Paul Stuart at #10, Paul Smith at #9, Hugo Boss at #8, and now…

Number 7

Ralph Lauren “Anthony” Model Tux

Ralph Lauren continues to set the bar in the world of men’s clothing. The company features three uniquely different collections—all targeted to a loyal—yet very specific client. While the Blue Label product continues to offer the most variety—and Purple Label continues to attract the elite spending luxury guy—Black Label always delivers the hippest, most contemporary style that exists under the Ralph Lauren umbrella.

The Anthony model is a great example of Ralph Lauren Black Label at its finest. The lapel is a skinny shawl; the pant is flat front and low rise. Think Mad Men circa 1962. Great detailing—I love the side tabs on the pant.

Strange: No vent—I guess when you are Ralph Lauren—you do what you want right?

Interesting: Made by Corneliani in Italy. Great make!
