This Week in Weddings
Another fun week in weddings. From celebrity wedding rumors, arrests, and the craziest engagement ring I’ve ever seen! Here are this week’s highlights..if you have more, please Tweet or Facebook them to the community!
1. Save the Date?- When are Alicia Keys and rap producer Swizz Beatz finally going to tie the knot?!? Music fans are dying to know, but things are being kept on the “down low.” Swizz Beatz denies the rumors as simply gossip but what’s all this “getting married on a yacht” talk? Rumors were floating around that they’re getting married this weekend but the couple denies it. Alicia is currently beautiful and pregnant with Beatz’s child, they’re currently engaged and we’re all dying to know when the big day is. The couple says they’re now focused on the new baby who’s gender remains unknown. For more, check out the People article.
2. Caught Redhanded- The Clinton wedding is all over the press lately and the media is doing going to extremes to give the public as much information as possible. Enter: 2 Norweigan journalists taking pictures of the front gate of the mansion that Clinton is rumored to conduct her wedding at. The mansion is in Rhinebeck, a small town of 8,000 folks which has been getting a lot of media attention lately. There were even rumors earlier this week claiming that the Rhinebeck wedding location is simply a decoy and that Chelsea is going to get married in a different city. Let’s see what happens. With a powerful guest list and big wedding, this is going to be a spectacular event.
3. Christina Applegate is Pregnant- Just announced this week, Applegate is having her first child with fiance Martyn Lenoble. Sources are not sure if wedding bells are to follow, but congrats to the lucky couple!
4. Megan Fox shows off Ring- Last month we reported on the small, quiet wedding of Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green in Hawaii. Fox’s first official appearance since then was on VH1′s Do Something Awards, earlier this week. Photographers caught some shots of the 2 carat ring from Green.
5. Coolest Engagement Ring Ever! – A few weeks ago we tweeted about the USB wedding ring that a thoughtful fiancee had custom made for her Microsoft engineer soon-to-be husband. That was pretty crazy. But this is on a whole other level. Luke Jerram gave his fiancee a ring with a built in projector! Take the ring off, and show off the pictures (inserted on the side of the ring) or use a flashlight or light source to project the pictures on a flat surface. Insane! Check it out.
