This Week in Weddings

An All Out Royal Affair- There are economic woes in England as of late, but the BBC reports that will not be affecting the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The wedding date has already been declared an official holiday so Brits can take the day off to watch the wedding on BBC. Everyone is waiting to hear who will be designing Kate Middleton’s dress, will it be the same designer as Princess Di’s? I mean she already has Princess Diana’s ring and they’re also getting married in Westminster Abbey…Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the two when it comes to wardrobe. There is also talk of a 3-D affair where broadcasters offer the wedding on TV in 3-D or theatres play the wedding in 3-D, now that’s what I call a royal wedding.

Kashing In?- Kourtney Kardashian has been in the tabloids as of late with stories of her tumultuous relationship with her Baby Daddy, Scott Disick. Now in the latest string of events, Scott has proposed! Many are saying that the engagement is a “must” in order for Scott to stay on the show after Kourtney insisted they get married. We’ll see if that remains to be true, but the truth of the matter is that they can make big money off the wedding rights like Khloe and Lamar Odom did with their wedding. So, are they getting hitched for true love, or is it about the money and endorsements?

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s Grammy Wedding- Set to take place early next year, the wedding will have an intimate guest list of 75 but are set to include some of the biggest names in Hollywood. The wedding will be held at Lionel Richie’s estate in Beverly Hills with many great musical performances anticipated, sounds like a whole lot of wedding fun!

New Love- It has only been about a month since we reported the divorce of Christina Aguilera, but it seems like she’s moving on strong! She was spotted in LA leaving a nightclub, hand in hand with a set assistant from her upcoming film, Burlesque.
